After discovering that Neuroi are capable of communication with humans and making peace with the nest above Gallia the Witches squads are now on a mission to restablish communication when a sudden attack vanishes the Neuroi, they now discover a new and massive nest that just appeared covering almost all Europe. Ruthless and without mercy it annihilates allied forces along Witches. Word of the attack reaches Fuso and a support battallion is deployed to rescue the survivors, among the rescue team is the former Striker captain Mio Sakamoto and the now civilian Yoshika Miyafuji who want to save her dear friends. -- ANN

Strike Witches (ストライクウィッチーズ Sutoraiku Witchīzu) is a mixed-media project originally created by Humikane Shimada via a series of magazine illustration columns. It was later adapted into two light novel series, three manga series, an anime OVA, and a televised anime series. The story revolves around teenage girls who are essentially moe anthropomorphizations of military planes. The OVA preview episode was released on January 1, 2007. The televised anime series later premiered on July 3, 2008, concluding September 18. The second season began airing on July 8, 2010. A game adapted from the series for the Xbox 360 and the second game for the Nintendo DS will be released in 2010. -- Wikipedia

Here is another Strike Witches, Sanya V. Litvyak which is by Alter, my favorite manufacture! must expect nothing less from fine and detailed figure. :p Alter will release it at coming Jun 2010 with retail price tag of 7800yen. 1/8 scaled (22cm) complete pre-painted pvc made mecha mesume figure which is sculpted by Houjun Otoyama. She is designed well to fit all the look inside the anime, along with the rocket launcher Fliegerhummer. See the preview below. I think this will be the second Strike Witches release by Alter, the first one is Yoshika Miyafuji which will be re-release by Alter at July 2010.

I saw there were two Strike Witches figure upcoming release. o_0 So first one, Erica Hartmann by Kotobukiya, oh quite good, 1/8 scaled (19cm tall) and the base actually will make it higher little bit more up to 22cm. Hartmann will be included with her machine gun (MG42) and also the hat, see photo preview below. On how fine it is sculpted, find it out after you buy one but don’t expect too less from Kotobukiya..lol..Hartmann figure will be fully pre-painted and release on May 2010 at the retail price of 6,800yen. Up to the next Strike Witches by Alter.
