It’s Yui Hirasawa’s first year in high school, and she’s eagerly searching for a club to join. At the same time, Ritsu Tainaka, a drummer, and her friend Mio Akiyama, a bassist, are desperately trying to save the school’s light music club, which is about to be disbanded due to lack of members. They manage to recruit Tsumugi Kotobuki to play the keyboard, meaning they only need one more member to get the club running again. Yui joins, thinking it will be an easy experience for her to play the castanets, the only instrument she knows. However, the other members think their new addition is actually a guitar prodigy… – ANN

Akiyama Mio from Alter ftw I place an order on one at HobbySearch, they had 20% off -- from 6,800yen to 5440yen. Since it will be the first Mio figure I get, Alter release will be my first choice Mio figure will stand 21cm height (1/8 scaled) included her instrument which stand a bit taller. OMG, Nakano Azusa from K-On 1/8 scaled PVC figure release by Alter! I like most of Alter figure, as they are well sculpted and detailed ^^ Probably I would pre-order one from XL-Shop, which is a local store here and mostly will cheaper than I purchase online using some shipment. Azusa will be 20cm high and retail priced at 6800yen, as well as complete pre-painted & quite finely sculpted – see the cloth crease and wrinkle. The important thing, the neko ear is included too which make her much cuter ^^ The release date won’t be long from now, June 2010 which will be my birthday month :p

The K-ON club’s first-year student and guitarist – already confirmed for a second release!

The Nendoroid of the K-ON club’s adorable first-year student and guitar player, ‘Azusa Nakano’, has already been confirmed to be getting a re-release just after her initial release!

Her guitar with it’s amp, as well as “Azunyan #2″ – the cat that appeared in one of the side stories, are all included. Three expressions are included: a smiling face, an embarrassed face and a confused face, along with cat ears to attach whenever you see fit. Her trademark twin-tail hair is fitted with joints and can be posed just like the rest of the figure, meaning there are even more scenes you can recreate in Nendoroid form!

Get her together with the rest of the club, and recreate the live performance of their song “After School Tea Time”!
